Three days, three headliners, and it is gone. Shaky Knees returns to Piedmont Park September 18–20, and the 2026 festival is sold out — only verified resale and a waitlist remain. Since 2013 it has been the rock-lover’s weekend on Atlanta’s calendar: 60-plus bands across stages spread through the historic park.

The part that belongs to downtown

Shaky Knees runs official late night shows at The Masquerade in the 30303, and those are ticketed separately from the festival — which means you can catch a Shaky Knees bill without a festival wristband.

Worth noticing: Jimmy Eat World, Hot Mulligan, Knocked Loose, Cartel, The Rapture and The Two Lips all play the festival and a downtown club the same weekend.

Getting there, and staying here

Piedmont Park is about two miles north of downtown. MARTA to Midtown or Arts Center beats driving on a festival weekend, and it runs straight back to the 30303 afterward for the late shows.

Note that Sunday, September 20 stacks the festival’s final day — Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem and Wu-Tang Clan — against the Falcons home opener at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and Chayanne at State Farm Arena. Plan transit accordingly.
