JPEGMAFIA (Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks) is a Baltimore-born, Los Angeles-based rapper and producer whose work sits at the intersection of hip-hop, industrial music, noise, and internet culture. Albums like Veteran (2018), All My Heroes Are Cornballs (2019), and LP! (2021) built him a cult following of unusual intensity — listeners who treat his records the way previous generations treated underground metal or hardcore punk: as a community defined by its distance from the mainstream.
His collaboration album with Danny Brown, Scaring the Hoes (2023), became one of the most critically praised hip-hop records of the year and introduced him to a substantially wider audience without meaningfully compromising the aesthetic. His live show is loud, chaotic, and fully committed — a genuine sensory experience that suits The Tabernacle's dimensions perfectly. October 24 in Atlanta is a rare opportunity to see an artist in the middle of a career-defining ascent.
