A third location of the Edgewood taqueria El Tesoro will open next year along Hotel Row in South Downtown. The restaurant will be situated in a one-story building at 171 Mitchell St.
The new venue will feature an indoor/outdoor bar offering margaritas, mezcal cocktails, and other beverages, along with a fresh fruit and vegetable smoothie bar. Televisions tuned to sports will be available throughout the space.
The menu will include El Tesoro's signature Guerrero-style tacos, burritos, tamales, and mulitas. Many weekly specials from the Edgewood location will become permanent menu items in South Downtown. The restaurant will offer “full-service dining inside and counter-service ordering on the patio, similar to the operations in Edgewood.”
