Fans heading into Mercedes-Benz Stadium will have a Mediterranean option inside the building. Roti Modern Mediterranean, the fast-casual chain known for build-your-own bowls, salads and pitas, is adding a spot at the downtown venue. The stadium location was slated to open by the end of 2025, a timeline the Atlanta Business Chronicle reported.
The move is tied to new ownership. Atlanta-based Edible Brands, the company behind Edible Arrangements, bought Roti earlier in 2025 and opened the chain up to franchising in August of that year. Matthew Walls, president at Edible Brands, framed the stadium deal as a way to give Roti more of a presence in its parent company's hometown while also putting the name in front of a national audience that passes through the building.
Walls also described the stadium as a testing ground. Running a location in a high-volume venue, he said, should teach the team how to adjust and tighten its processes before taking the concept into similar settings, and he named stadiums, airports and transportation hubs as the kinds of places Roti could follow up with.
What will be on the menu
The stadium version of Roti will be a pared-down take on its usual lineup. Plans call for a single salad, a single bowl and a single wrap, rather than the full range of customizable combinations found at its standalone restaurants. Dessert will come from a sister company: Edible Arrangements, also part of the Edible Brands portfolio, is supplying sweets for the counter.
At its regular locations, Roti lets diners assemble bowls, salads and pitas from a selection of fresh ingredients, with spices and sauces drawn from around the world. Walls pointed to that flavor-forward approach, and to a track record of more than a decade, as what sets the brand apart in fast-casual dining.
A customer turned operator
Walls came to the brand as a fan first. He told the outlet that he discovered Roti four or five years earlier, during a period when he spent a lot of time in Minneapolis, and that getting to lead a company he already liked as a customer is a rare situation.
The broader franchise plan starts in markets where Roti already operates, namely Chicago, Washington, D.C., and Minneapolis. From there, Edible Brands intends to push into other large metro areas in the Midwest and Southeast, with Georgia included in that second wave. Walls said the stadium spot gives the company a better foothold in the Atlanta market while that rollout takes shape.
