What it is
Hilton Atlanta is a large downtown hotel at 255 Courtland Street NE, close to I-75. The hotel puts itself within six blocks of attractions such as Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia Aquarium, with State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium about a mile off. A skywalk links the building to Peachtree Center and MARTA, so guests can ride the train to and from the airport. For downtime there’s a fitness center, a basketball court, two pickleball courts and a jogging track.
Food and drink
Trader Vic’s fills the hotel’s lower level with a Polynesian menu, tropical cocktails, tiki carvings, giant blowfish and palm-thatched ceilings. Southern Elements serves traditional Southern cooking with a modern spin, and the lobby lounge next to it is an easy spot for a drink. Marketplace is the quick-serve café, with Starbucks coffee, sandwiches, salads, ice cream, beer, half-bottles of wine and meals to take along for a flight home. Up on the 30th floor, Nikolai’s Roof now opens only for private events and intimate dinners, with skyline views, house-infused vodkas, caviar service and piroshkis.
