MiMi Taqueria

What it is

MiMi Taqueria is a Mexican street food counter at CTR Food Works, the food hall inside The CTR, the former CNN Center. The kitchen is led by Chef Mimi, and the cooking reflects her love of making things by hand from fresh ingredients, with a few playful, modern turns on familiar dishes.

Food and drink

Expect tacos, burritos and enchiladas, along with a handful of the chef’s own comfort plates, all built around sauces made in house. The food hall setting means communal tables and plenty of other counters nearby, so it works as well for a quick solo lunch as it does for a group that can’t agree on dinner. CTR Food Works comes from the team behind New York’s Gansevoort Market and Atlanta’s Chattahoochee Food Works.

The CTR lists MiMi’s hours as 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Check the CTR directory for any changes.
