Olympic Rings

An 11-foot-tall, 5,000-pound interactive sculpture of the five Olympic rings near Centennial Olympic Park's east entrance, installed in 2018 as a selfie-ready tribute to Atlanta's 1996 Olympic legacy.

Olympic Rings

What it is

The Olympic Rings here are the Fountain of Rings, the centerpiece of Centennial Olympic Park. The Georgia World Congress Center Authority describes it as the world’s largest interactive fountain featuring the Olympic ring symbol. Its water jets create a zero-depth play area, so children can run through the spray.

The show

The scheduled show sends water jets more than 15 feet high, adds a fog system and, in the evenings only, 360-degree LED lighting. It is choreographed to a soundtrack that mixes Georgia-connected artists with favorites from other eras. The listed show times are 12:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Before you go

Show times can change, so check the Fountain of Rings page for the latest. The park is on Andrew Young International Blvd NW, and the authority’s office number is 404-223-4000.
