What it is

Patty & Frank’s is a burger and hot dog counter at CTR Food Works, the food hall inside The CTR, the former CNN Center. It borrows its look and its menu from old roadside stands and neighborhood grill counters, with a retro Americana feel and the motto “Love In Every Bun.”

Food and drink

The draws are smashed burgers and beef franks, backed up by the kind of familiar classics you’d expect from a grill counter. Service is fast-casual, so it’s an easy pick before a game or a show nearby, and the food hall’s communal tables mean everyone in your group can order from a different counter and still sit together. CTR Food Works comes from the team behind New York’s Gansevoort Market and Atlanta’s Chattahoochee Food Works.

The CTR lists hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The CTR directory has updates.
