The Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, presented by Invesco QQQ, sets up on The Home Depot Backyard for four days in September. The centerpiece is the walk-around Tasting Tents presented by Goya Foods, where Southern chefs and producers pour and plate side by side; around it sit curated sessions including Whiskey & Fire.
The move to the Backyard matters for downtown. The festival spent years in Midtown; running it on the 11-acre greenspace on the Mercedes-Benz Stadium campus puts several thousand people a day inside the Vine City and Castleberry Hill orbit rather than up Peachtree.
Tickets are sold by session and by day, and the Tasting Tents sell out first. The Backyard is at 1 Backyard Way, a walk from Vine City MARTA.
