Castleberry Hill turns out for a morning of neighborhood upkeep on Saturday, September 19. Volunteers meet at the No Mas! parking lot, 180 Walker St SW, at 10am and work through the district until noon — picking up litter, clearing overgrowth and tidying the streetscape that ties the galleries, lofts and restaurants together.
No experience or equipment is required; organizers supply the supplies. It is a low-commitment way to meet the people who actually live in one of Downtown Atlanta's oldest neighborhoods, and two hours is the whole ask.
