#WeTouchGrass and InvAsian co-present an Anime Rave at The Masquerade on August 1 — a DJ dance event built entirely around anime music culture: J-pop, anime OSTs, video game soundtracks, and the cross-genre electronic production that defines the aesthetic. The format draws Atlanta's anime and Asian-American communities into a shared space built around the music that has soundtracked their cultural lives.
The Masquerade's dance floor is a well-matched environment for an event whose audience knows every track and comes specifically to hear them at volume. August 1 — the cosplays are optional, the enthusiasm is not.
