A 60-minute guided morning with Zoo Atlanta's orangutans before the zoo opens on Oct. 11.
Zoo Atlanta's Mornings at the Zoo is a 60-minute guided experience with an interpretive guide before the zoo officially opens, focused on a spotlighted animal area. The Oct. 11 session features orangutans. Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. at the main entrance and the program starts promptly at 8:30. Guests learn about the species and its care through observation, biofacts and Q&A, and the habitat opens to all zoo guests by 9:30 a.m. The program is limited to 30 participants, costs $55 with daytime admission included ($20 for members), and a paid adult must accompany children.
