Tuesdays in the Field: October

Georgia Aquarium's monthly homeschool program returns for an October morning of hands-on marine science.

Georgia Aquarium runs the October edition of Tuesdays in the Field on Tuesday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program is built specifically for K–12 homeschool students, and the Aquarium's education team structures it as a working session rather than a guided walk. Each month takes a different angle on marine science — animal husbandry, water chemistry, conservation research methods — with the day's activities scaled to the age groups registered. Because it runs on a weekday morning before the general-admission crowd builds, participants get galleries at a density that makes actual observation possible. Registration is required and handled per session. Georgia Aquarium is at 225 Baker Street NW, on the Centennial Olympic Park campus.
