Tuesdays in the Field: November

The November session of Georgia Aquarium's homeschool field program runs a weekday morning of hands-on marine science.

The November edition of Tuesdays in the Field runs at Georgia Aquarium on Tuesday, November 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Aquarium's education team designs the series for K–12 homeschool students, rotating the focus each month so families enrolling across a season don't repeat content. Sessions combine gallery work with activities pulled from the Aquarium's own husbandry and research practice — the emphasis is on doing the observation rather than being shown a conclusion. The weekday-morning slot is deliberate: the building is quiet, and animals are more active before the general-admission crowd arrives. Each session requires its own registration. Georgia Aquarium is at 225 Baker Street NW, adjacent to Centennial Olympic Park.
