What it is
At Moxy Atlanta Downtown, the front desk is a bar. You pick up your room key at Bar Moxy, where check-in comes with a cocktail. Check-in runs 24/7, even when the bar is closed. Rooms are compact and designed to use every inch, with motion-activated LED night lights, walk-in showers and wall hooks and storage. Room types include queen rooms, two-queen studios and four-queen bunk rooms for groups, plus a two-bedroom penthouse.
Eat, drink, play
The hotel has an outpost of Eggslut, the Los Angeles favorite, which serves breakfast sandwiches all day. Grab-and-go snacks and drinks are sold around the clock. Upstairs, the Jagger Suite rooftop lounge pairs shareable small plates and cocktails with DJs and a view of the skyline. There’s also a gym that’s open 24/7.
Before you go
Check-in is at 3 p.m., checkout is at noon, and you must be 21 to check in. The property is smoke-free. One pet up to 50 pounds is welcome for a non-refundable $75 fee per stay. The only parking is valet, at $55 a day, and there are EV charging stations. The valet and rideshare entrance is on Latimer Street between Luckie and Marietta streets.
Getting here
The hotel is on Marietta Street, within walking distance of Centennial Olympic Park, State Farm Arena and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. It’s also a preferred hotel of Georgia Aquarium.
