Matchday in Atlanta was never confined to the building on Northside Drive. Atlanta United maintains a network of official partner pubs across the metro, and during the World Cup those rooms functioned as satellite stadiums — big screens, standing-room crowds, and enough giveaways that people frequently walked out wearing more than they walked in with. Two of them are downtown, and they carried the heaviest load.
Brewhouse Cafe runs two locations, one in Little Five Points and one in South Downtown, and holds the distinction of being voted "America's Best Soccer Bar" by Men in Blazers. Early kickoffs turn into brunch there — steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, a Bloody Mary or mimosa — with televisions running indoors and out, and a steady rotation of tickets, jerseys, scarves and coozies handed out to the room.
Der Biergarten sits closer to the stadium than any other partner venue, a German beer garden with an elevated patio that spends the season draped in United flags and the club's red, black and gold. The formula is Hofbrau lager, oversized pretzels, and ticket giveaways, and the proximity to the gates means it fills before almost anywhere else downtown.
Beyond the core, the map spreads out. Fado Irish Pub occupies three levels with a patio bar in the Buckhead Village District, with a smaller Midtown sibling, pouring Irish, Belgian and American craft beer alongside cod-and-chips. Park Tavern, in a granite building on the edge of Piedmont Park that once served as the park's horse stables, runs 30 televisions and two oversized projection screens and welcomes dogs on the patio. SweetWater Brewing Company, once a small operation tucked into Armour Yards, now hosts large watch parties with 24 taps including the United-inspired Rowdy Peach IPA.
The outer ring is genuinely far-flung. Willie B's sits field-side inside the Silverbacks Park complex in Doraville, home to adult soccer leagues, with 14 taps and a menu built around Flaming Mac and Cheese and street tacos. O'Sullivans Irish Pub, the red building off Decatur Square, keeps more than 350 whiskeys and a plate of curry chips worth ordering. Chamblee Tap & Market anchors a micro food hall with 30 rotating taps, South End Smokehouse barbecue and Sidecar Coffee. The Tavern, in The Battery Atlanta next to Truist Park, has quietly become as much a soccer room as a baseball one.
Closer in, The Pub @ EAV pours a free shot for every United goal and runs a $20 pitcher-and-wings special, The Albert sits within walking distance of the Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA station with Einstein portraits on the exposed brick, and Limerick Junction Pub has served Virginia-Highland since 1988. The through line is the partner program itself — but the geography is what matters downtown, where being three blocks from the stadium turns a bar into an overflow venue whether it planned to be one or not.
