What it is
Crates is a record store at 215 Mitchell St SW in downtown Atlanta. Its website bills the shop as “all your vinyl needs,” and the online catalog is organized by genre, from rap and R&B to rock, blues, jazz, country and world music.

The store stocks new releases and reissues. The “out this week” list on October 2, 2026 included the Beatles’ Rubber Soul special editions, the 49th anniversary edition of Elvis Costello’s My Aim Is True as a five-CD box set, and a 10th anniversary pressing of Mac Miller’s The Divine Feminine.
