Zoo Atlanta's Keeper for a Day program hands participants a genuine morning shift at the Zambezi Elephant Center rather than a viewing tour.
The work runs 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. alongside the Elephant Care Team — preparing the habitat for the day and making sure the animals' needs are met. Participants must be able to bend, lift, stoop, kneel and stand for extended periods.
Space is limited and registration closes in advance; additional dates run through December.
