Keeper for a Day: Reptiles and Amphibians

A hands-on morning with Zoo Atlanta's herpetology team.

Zoo Atlanta's herpetology collection is one of the most significant in the country, and Keeper for a Day: Reptiles and Amphibians puts participants alongside the team that maintains it. The morning runs 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 800 Cherokee Avenue and covers habitat preparation, diet work and the daily routine behind the scenes. Participants must be able to bend, lift, stoop, kneel and stand for extended periods. The program repeats on selected Wednesdays and Saturdays through December.
