Saturday Adventures at the Center brings storyteller Mama Koku to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from noon to 1 pm. Her sessions are improvised and interactive, and she invites children and families into the story instead of just telling it.
Mama Koku is a teaching artist and storyteller known around metro Atlanta, and she studied theater at North Carolina Central University. While you are there, the Change Agent Adventure children's gallery is open for kids 12 and under, with hands-on activities built around becoming a changemaker. The program is listed under family programming and is held in person. Registration and full details are on the official page.
