2027 SKECHERS Hot Chocolate Run Atlanta

A January 5K and 15K that starts at Centennial Olympic Park and pays in chocolate at the finish.

The Hot Chocolate Run returns to Centennial Olympic Park on Sunday, January 31, 2027, with 5K and 15K distances. The course leaves the park and runs a loop past the downtown venues that define the district — Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia Aquarium — which makes it one of the few races that shows off the whole Centennial Olympic Park zone at street level.

The draw is the finish line: hot chocolate, a fondue-style melting chocolate cup and dipping items, plus a finisher's medal. The GWCC hosts the packet-pickup expo in the days before, and the event blocks off a meaningful chunk of downtown street grid on race morning — worth knowing whether you are running it or trying to drive through it.

Registration and course maps are on the series' Atlanta page. The GWCC calendar lists the full event footprint as running January 29–31, expo included.
