What it is
Broad Street BBQ is a neighborhood barbecue joint at 96 Broad St in downtown Atlanta, built by two lifelong friends, Sam Pinner and Jason Furst. Before opening it, they spent decades in Atlanta's high-end restaurant scene, working at places including Kevin Rathbun Steak, KRSteak Bar, BoccaLupo and Atlas.
Background
Before that, the pair ran a barbecue pop-up called Three Stacks on Bainbridge Island, and they have since opened Sammy's, an Adair Park staple. The restaurant describes Broads as their shared vision: a welcoming place where barbecue, cold drinks and good company come together.
Before you go
The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Menus and online ordering are on the Broad Street BBQ website.
