What it is
Ida’s Kitchen Counter is a breakfast and lunch restaurant at 185 Mitchell Street SW in South Downtown, from chef Todd Ginsberg and restaurateur Josh Kim. South Downtown’s directory lists it as coming in 2026, so it may not be open when you read this.
The menu idea
The concept is playful takes on classics: sandwiches described as unique and crave-worthy, a chopped Caesar salad built from favorite fresh ingredients, and sourdough donuts. No hours or full menu were posted on the directory page.
The courtyard
The restaurant is expected to share a courtyard patio with Glide Pizza and Estrellita, which is moving to Broad Street, according to Rough Draft Atlanta.
