Percussion ensemble concerts are consistently among the most physically interesting things on a university music calendar — marimba and vibraphone writing alongside pieces built from found objects, drum sets, and whatever else the repertoire calls for. Georgia State's ensemble programs a mix of standard contemporary works and newer commissions.
The concert is at the Rialto Center for the Arts, 80 Forsyth St NW, in the heart of the GSU downtown campus.
Curtain is at 7 p.m.
