Georgia State University's Rialto Center for the Arts launches its new Film Series on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. with Mel Brooks' 1974 comedy Young Frankenstein, starring Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman and Madeline Kahn.
The film is a spoof of classic horror movies and follows Dr. Frederick Frankenstein as he comes to terms with his family legacy. Before the screening, visitors can see the exhibition HARRY UNDERWOOD: The Design of Destiny in the Rialto lobby, which features the artist's dreamlike paintings.
