The Georgia State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble presents "Tributes" at the Rialto Center for the Arts, a program built around works written in homage to composers, mentors and figures who shaped the wind repertoire.
The ensemble is the School of Music's flagship wind group, drawing its players from across the university's performance program and performing a concert series at the Rialto each academic year.
The Rialto sits at 80 Forsyth Street NW in the Fairlie-Poplar district, inside a restored 1916 movie house that Georgia State now runs as its principal performance venue. Peachtree Center and Five Points MARTA stations are both a short walk.
Ticketing is handled through the Rialto box office and the GSU events calendar.
