Tuesdays in the Field: December

Georgia Aquarium's homeschool field program runs its December session on Tuesday, December 8.

Georgia Aquarium hosts the December edition of Tuesdays in the Field on Tuesday, December 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The monthly series gives K-12 homeschool students a working morning inside the Aquarium rather than a standard tour. Sessions are led by the education staff and rotate through marine science topics across the year, with the December meeting landing at a point in the school calendar when the galleries are unusually quiet. Activities are scaled to the ages registered for the session, and the format leans on observation and hands-on work — animal care routines, water quality sampling, and the research methods the Aquarium's own teams use. Advance registration is required for each session separately. Georgia Aquarium is at 225 Baker Street NW on the Centennial Olympic Park campus.
