Tuesdays in the Field returns for its January session on Tuesday, January 12, 2027, running 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Georgia Aquarium. January opens the second half of the program year, and the curriculum tends to shift accordingly — earlier sessions establish the fundamentals of marine biology and husbandry, while the winter and spring meetings build toward more specific research questions. The program is designed for homeschool families and runs on a weekday morning before general admission fills the building, which is the practical reason participants can spend real time at a single exhibit instead of moving with a crowd. Each session requires its own registration. The Aquarium is at 225 Baker Street NW, downtown.
