El Tesoro will take its Mexican beach party downtown ahead of World Cup

Taqueria El Tesoro is opening its third and largest location at 171 Mitchell Street SW in South Downtown, bringing its coastal Mexican beach-party atmosphere ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The new 3,600-square-foot restaurant will feature a large patio overlooking a public amphitheater, just a 10–15 minute walk from Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
